How supplements are actually regulated

Dietary supplements in the United States fall under the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994, which treats them very differently from medicines. Three consequences follow:

  1. The FDA does not review or approve a dietary supplement before it goes on sale.
  2. Responsibility for safety and for label honesty sits with the manufacturer and distributor, not with a regulator clearing it in advance.
  3. A facility can be registered with the FDA. Registration is an administrative fact about a building, not an endorsement of anything produced inside it.

The phrase "FDA approved" appears nowhere on digestiflow.com, because for a dietary supplement it would not be true. A combined badge strip carrying an FDA mark arrived in this product's asset pack and was excluded from this build — partly for that reason and partly because the file was built for an entirely different brand.

The claims we make

DigestFlow is described here as supporting everyday digestive wellness in healthy adults. That is structure and function language, phrased the way the law requires: supports, helps maintain, is designed to support. The manufacturing and dietary marks — GMP, made in the USA, natural, non-GMO, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian — are reproduced from the product's own packaging.

The claims we do not make

On ratings, and one thing worth telling you

This site publishes no star average and no customer count. A ratings graphic did arrive with this product's artwork — "4.92 out of 5 from 92,100+ reviews" — but the filename shows it was made for a different brand entirely, and there is no verified review corpus for DigestFlow behind it. It is not on this site. We mention it because a reader deserves to know the difference between a rating and a graphic.

On the ingredient list

We publish none, and say so in plain words on the homepage. Formulas change between production runs, and only the panel on your bottle is guaranteed to describe your bottle. We would rather be judged on that honesty than publish a list we cannot stand behind.

On the pricing figures

The prices, shipping terms and 180-day guarantee published on this site were read directly from the official product packaging artwork, not paraphrased from a sales page. Where a figure could not be established from a source we trust, this site says so rather than filling the gap.

Affiliate disclosure

digestiflow.com is operated independently. It is not the manufacturer's website and we do not represent ourselves as the manufacturer anywhere on it.

If you click an order link here and complete a purchase, we may be paid a commission by the retailer. Your price is identical either way — arriving through this page costs you nothing extra and saves you nothing either. That commission is what funds the research, writing, design and hosting behind these pages.

Trademarks

DigestFlow and any other product names or logos shown here are the property of their respective owners. Their use identifies and describes a product and does not imply endorsement of this website.

Reporting an adverse reaction

If a dietary supplement causes a serious adverse reaction, stop taking it, seek medical attention, and report it to the FDA MedWatch programme at fda.gov/safety/medwatch. Public reports are a large part of how problems in this industry come to light.
